This reminds me of the myriad of days my charming daughter, in contemplative silence, spent staring at the ceiling - finding figures and images (one might consider it her early "Where's Waldo" experience). I often find that if you ponder a portion of any image, faces will emerge. Look for examples in many of this Blog's posts.
...and cut through and make firm and plain and smooth, straight paths for your feet -- yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction -- so that the lame and halting limbs may not be put out of joint, but rather may be healed. Hebrews 12:13
“As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
"The more deeply the path is etched - the more it is used; and the more it is used - the more deeply it is etched." ~ Jo Coudert
